'08 Upgrades
New, 4-wheel carbon/carbon brake system by Strange Engineering.
Some machine work to the stock Strange bracket
was required to fit the new caliper.

Front of the #444 car also required some modifications
to fit. Overall it turned out to be a very clean installation.

Left front is the same. Thanks to Jeff and Dimitry at Strange Engineering for all their help.

New air balance manifold (with blue nut on top) for the Hilborn atomizer injector nozzles
Manifold in place prior to installation of the ram tubes

Final installation: ram tubes and seal plate. A gasket seals around the perimiter of the seal plate and the air scoop within the body. The new balance manifold will balance pressure and help maintain fuel/air mixture as speed and air box pressures increase.

Tire Prep
Rick grinds the excess rubber off.
Messy, messy!
Dave Spangler will pilot #444 in C-Gas streamliner with its 371 ci small block Duttweiler Chevy.
Current record is 323.126 mph.
Good luck Super Dave!
